Note: Wine updated for me and I had to fix it. Here is how I did.

1. Open Bottles
2. Click KakaoTalk
3. Click Three Dots
4. Click Delete Bottle
5. $ cd /tmp
6. $ wget https://app-pc.kakaocdn.net/talk/win32/KakaoTalk_Setup.exe
7. $ thunar ~/.var/app/com.usebottles.bottles/data/bottles/
8. Find and delete KakaoTalk folder
9. $ thunar ~/.var/app/com.usebottles.bottles/config/bottles/
10. Find and delete KakaoTalk folder
11. $ thunar ~/.local/share/applications/
12. Find and delete KakaoTalk desktop shortcut
13. Open Bottles
14. Click +
15. Name: KakaoTalk
16. Make sure Applications is selected
17. Click Create
18. Click Run Executable
19. Browse to /tmp
20. Click KakaoTalk_Setup.exe
21. Install KakaoTalk
22. Uncheck all boxes at the end of the install
23. Click KakaoTalk in Bottles if you are not in the bottle.
24. Click Settings under Options
25. Change Runner to sys-wine-11.0 or the latest version.
26. Click <
27. Click ⏵ next to KakaoTalk
28. Click ⚙ on the login page of KakaoTalk
29. Change the font to Times New Roman or any other font in the list.
30. Close the Settings window and Login
31. Use the KakaoTalk application and Enjoy 🙂
