The old method is outdated. It requires a paid account to get the weather, I think. I found a new method that works and is easier. Go to https://weather.vejnoe.dk/ after logging into your google calendar account. Input the zip code of the area you want to get weather reports from. When you click enter, it should ask if you want to add it to your google calendar. You allow it access and you now have weather back in your calendar. Make sure you delete the old calendar event, that no longer works, if you are using it.
