How to Disable the New Google Feed [Android]

Google recently removed the toggle that turned off the Google Feed, but now there’s a new method that will let us disable it from working.

Note – Some are reporting that this will wipe all of the icons and widgets from your Home Screen. As shown in the video, it didn’t happen to me, but it could happen to you so be aware of that.

1. Disable Google Feed
2. Launch the Settings application
3. Tap on the Apps & Notifications option
4. Then tap on the App Info option
5. Locate and tap on the Google application in the list
6. Tap on the Storage option here
7. Tap the Manage Space option
8. Tap the Clear Data/Clear All Data option
9. Then tap OK to confirm
10. Press the Home button to go back to the Home Screen
11. Do NOT open the Google app again (or it will trigger the feed)
