Network File/Folder Sharing (Xubuntu)

1. Open Terminal Emulator
2. Type sudo apt-get install nautilus -y
3. Type sudo apt-get install nautilus-share -y
4. Type sudo apt-get install mousepad -y
5. Type sudo mousepad /etc/samba/smb.conf
6. Edit the text in mouse pad to have this …
7. Save.
8. Go to Applications => Settings Manager => Preferred Applications => Utilities.
9. Change File manager preferred application to, Nautilus
10. Now, share the file or folder by right clicking and under properties, you should see network sharing.
