What makes us different from other similar websites? › Forums › Tech › Streaming Audio from Cellphone to Windows PC
You will need:
• 3.5mm Male to Male Stereo Audio Jack AUX Auxiliary Cable

• Cellphone
• Windows Computer (this can also be done in Linux, but slightly different)
Steps:
1. Plug in AUX cable into cellphone and computers microphone female port.
2. Right click sound speaker (located near clock)
3. Click “Recording Devices”.
4. Enable “Microphone” if not enabled.
5. Download VLC player from:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
6. Open VLC.
7. Play music or sound on cellphone.
8. Click Media => Capture Devices.
9. Change “Audio device name” to your microphone.
10. Click “Play”.
11. If you have a camera and want to disable it, click “Video => Video Track => Disable”.
12. You should now here the sound from your cellphone.
If you are experiencing static from your speakers, try using line-in instead of microphone. This is usually found in the back of the computer.
